Sharing The Word LLC Terms & Conditions

By participating in the Sharing The Word LLC program, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree with the terms and conditions provided below. For questions, concerns, or additional information on these terms, please contact us.

Who Can Participate
Web Design and Web Hosting Services:
Any organization, nonprofit and small businesses that does NOT promote the following: hate, violence, illegal activities, immoral activities, or obscene material.

WebCasting Services:
Sharing The Word LLC's WebCasting Service, dba KC Gospel Depot, is designed to serve Christian churches and organizations, which exist to further the work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Although we wish no ill will towards other religious organizations, and recognize their freedom to practice, we cannot allow churches of non-Christian faiths to participate in this WebCasting program. Acceptance for participation into the Sharing The Word LLC WebCasting Services is at the prayerful discretion of Sharing The Word LLC, all decisions will be based on biblical truth, not on our opinion. For more information, questions, or comments, please contact us.

Payment and Billing
SharingTheWord.Net services are billed monthly, from the beginning of the month. Invoices are sent via fax, postal mail or E-mail. The first payment, which is due in advance, covers one full month of service, plus a prorated amount (if applicable) for the current month.

All invoices are due immediately upon receipt. A customer may at any time cancel his or her account. However customer is responsible for services rendered through the date that we are notified of the cancellation and for past due amounts from previous billing periods. Payment not received within 15 days will subject the customer's service to deactivation. Invoices that are over 30 days past due will result in the suspension of the availability of the Sharing The Word LLC website and email address until such time as past due balances are paid in full.

Sharing the Word has elected not to accept credit card payment at this time due to the overhead (we are charged a fee for every transaction) and potential fraud. We will accept checks or money orders, payable to: Sharing The Word LLC.

Content Submission and File Format
Text may be sent in a variety of electronic formats, and the following are examples of those accepted: .txt, .doc, .wpd. Text may also be included directly into an email and mailed to: info@sharingtheword.net. Hard copies of content are accepted, but a additional fee applies (see ala carte general services price list) for scanning pages. If you are unsure about the format that you are sending, please contact us. for additional information and assistance.

Images should be sent web-ready in either .gif or .jpg format. Hard copies of photos are accepted, but an additional fee applies (see ala carte general services price list) for scanning photos.

Media should be sent via postal delievery broadcast-ready. Customer is responsible for the broadcast content.

Use of Copyrighted Material
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all information within their account is their own work. Copyrighted materials include art, music and other works. Clients agree to indemnify Sharing The Word LLC of any possible litigation involving trademark or copyrighted materials.

Client agrees not to modify any copyright notices in features (Perl programs, etc.) provided by Sharing The Word LLC. Modification of scripts provided by Sharing The Word LLC without written permission is strictly prohibited.

Use of Personal Information
It is the responsibility of the client to obtain permission to publish the personal information of any individual onto their website. This may include email address, telephone numbers, and mailing addresses. Clients agree to indemnify Sharing The Word LLC of any possible litigation involving the use of personal information by the client on their website.

Site Maintenance and Updates
Each website will include site maintenance and updates made directly by Sharing The Word LLC as part of the monthly subscription service. A maximum of 2 monthly updates are included for a total monthly development time requirement of 1/2 hour. Additional site updates and maintenance made by Sharing The Word LLC in excess of this allowance will be billed at $25 per hour.

Updates included in the above paragraph are limited to content only, and do not include transferring all content from one design template to another. Additional charges will apply to change design templates after the set up has been completed and the site is live.

Privacy Policy
Sharing The Word LLC will not give any of our customer's personal information to anyone, unless forced to by the United States court of law for law enforcement purposes.

Domain Registration
Sharing The Word LLC is not a domain registrar; however we do register domain names on the customer's behalf only with the customer's consent.

Domain Transfers
If a customer signs us for Sharing The Word LLC from an existing domain, it is the customer's responsiblity to transfer the doman. The only requirement to effect a domain transfer is a change to the DNS servers for the customer's existing domain.

The customer should contact his or her domain registrar for instructions on updating his or her domain record. If the customer has difficulty transfering his or her domain, Sharing The Word LLC will attempt to assit upon notification to info@sharingtheword.net.

Accptable Use
Our services can be utilized in many ways to promote the customer's organizetion. However; Sharing The Word LLC prohibits all of the following:

	SPAM/Unsolicited Commerial Email
	Illegal Use
	Obsene or Hateful Material

Violiation of this policy will result in an investigation and possible immediate service termination.
